CSFM LARRO:

The Low Angle Rope Rescue Operational course is designed to provide training for responders in lowangle rope rescue operations. These over-the-side operations may be the result of a vehicle accident, hiking mishap, swift water rescue, or search and rescue function in an urban or remote area. This course will also provide training in a subject element required for the California Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Basic and Light Operational Level by serving as the prerequisite training if you wish to continue your training in a Rescue Systems 1 course. Rescue Systems 1 prepares you for light frame building collapse incidents caused by earthquake, terrorist actions, weapons of mass destruction(WMD) event, or other catastrophe.

CSFM RESCUE SYSTEMS I:

Rescue Systems 1 provides responders with training in: Team organization, rescue, and environmental considerations, use of ropes, knots, rigging and pulley systems, descending, rappelling, and belaying tools and techniques, subsurface rescue techniques, use of cribbing, wedges, cutting and prying tools, use of fire service ladders in specialized rescue situations, and emergency building shoring.
40-hour course

CSFM RESCUE SYSTEMS II:

Provides advanced heavy rescue system techniques. Key topics include: Structural building types, wood and mechanical shores, crib capacities, floor weight calculations, building search, confined space considerations, damaged structure hazard assessment, use of power tools, air bags, and USAR ICS.

CSFM ROPE RESCUE TECHNICIAN:

A 5-Day course meeting current National standards for the NFPA 1670 and 1006 requirements for Technical Rope Rescue Technician. With CSFM Low-Angle Rope Rescue Operational (LARRO) & CSFM Rescue Systems-1 (RS-1) as pre-requisites, this course focuses on a higher level of technical rope rigging systems, Incident management, High-Angle Rescue Systems and associated hazards, Critical thinking and implementation of victim access options and rescue transport options. Focus is on Team coordination and individual skills performance outlined by the NFPA.

EMS
(AHSI CERTIFIED)

BLS CPR/AED:

This expert-level program helps keep healthcare professionals prepared and ready to respond as they encounter life-threatening emergencies, provide basic life support and respond to choking and other airway obstruction incidents. ASHI’s Basic Life Support, BLS for Healthcare Providers and Professional Rescuers has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). The program is also CAPCE approved and widely accepted in more than 150 healthcare-related occupations.

ACLS:

American Safety & Health Institute’s Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) program was created to train emergency personnel to recognize cardiopulmonary emergencies (including cardiac arrest and peri-arrest conditions) and other medical conditions that require rapid initial emergency care. Program covers the initial actions of an emergency response team, evaluating airway management, dysrhythmia recognition, electrical interventions, and pharmacologic interventions. © 2012 ASHI ASHI is a member of the HSI family of brands. PALS:

American Safety & Health Institute’s Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) program was created to provide healthcare professionals with training in the recognition and treatment of conditions that may lead to cardiopulmonary arrest in an infant or child.

BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS:

American Safety & Health Institute’s Bloodborne Pathogens program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
